School education programmes

Beginning in 2007, a school education programme based at UEMC will begin in collaboration with the “Watu na Msitu” (People and Forest) project, funded by the Autonomous Province of Trento through Museo Tridentino di Scienze Naturali, that has been promoting these activities since 2004 in the southern Udzungwa range. The programme works with primary schools in the villages near UEMC and includes activities such as seminars and lessons on animals and plants, visits to UEMC, visit to the park, poster competitions.
